Hi,

Try this:

Power off the printer.

1. Power off the printer.

2. Press and hold "both" the Home and Power buttons at the same time.

 

3. Do not release these buttons until the screen displays "SPECIAL BOOT MENU".

 

4. From this menu, select STORAGE DEVICE INITIALIZE MODE.

 

5. Select Yes to Confirm the selection, and the machine will perform a device initialization.

error code 117-323

Product Name: VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10

tried to do the system / software update as per keypad message

 

stopped halfway through update

 

now error code 117-323  

 

tried the off leave it and back on but still showing faults, it is out of warranty as is 18 months old. xereox quoted £333 !!!!!! to look at it.

 

anyone had this and found a way to restart the update ?
