More info regarding iGen3 Toner.

Since 2007 the C, Y & K containers have 20% more Dry Ink and less Carrier Beads although the weight remains at 12 lbs. The Magenta container has not change.

Hello Steve,

While there is no real expiration date for toner, you might see Image Quality issues if your toner isn't stored properly for any length of time.  For your iGen3 machine, the toner formulation has changed over the past 5 years, however I'm told that you can still use the old toner without worry of damage.

I hope this answers your question.

John

Is there an expiration date for iGen3 toner?

How old can iGen3 toner be and still be "good"?

Has there been any reformulations of iGen3 toner over the last 5 years that would make old toner "bad" and/or not recommended for use?
