I have my phaser 6500 that is locked and ask image unit replacement. Connecting via web interface, i see only 13043 pages !!

in all docs is reported 30000 pages and is electronic counted ... so why this happen ?

in addition i take a look for imaging unit and i see that is cheaer buy a new printer instead of buy a new image unit ...

is this possible ?

Thank you for using the Support Forum. The average for the imaging unit is 30,000 pages. If it is printing black sheets please see the solutions for printing partial or full black pages.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

After just 24000 pages my 14 month old phaser 6500N has an imaging unit of 10%. Is it normal?

there is no shiny blue Transfer Belt on the unit when i open the printer. It prints only black. 

If i change the imaging unit will i solve the problem? Because the cost is similar to buying another one.
