Hi

We use a Workcentre 7435 and its a good bit of kit.  The only downside is that when the toner runs low it constantly beeps, I know its low, i have the new toner here - its not quite run out yet so does not need changing....how do i stop the beeping! any suggestions would be welcome from fellow users.

Thanks

Re: workcentre 7435

My problem too!  That is precisely why I came here.  We have a Workcentre 5225A in a classroom setting.  How can I turn off the beeps?

Re: workcentre 7435

from www.support.xerox.com here is the default user name and password.

  • Press the [Log In / Out] button on the Control Panel. The Login screen will be displayed.
  • Enter the System Administrator user ID using the numeric keypad on the Control Panel or the keyboard on the Touch Screen, and then select the [Next] button.
  • Enter the password in the field provided, and then press the [Enter] button.

NOTE: The user ID can be 1 - 32 alphanumeric characters; the default user ID is "admin" (case sensitive). The password can be 4 - 12 alphanumeric characters; the default passcode is "1111". The password characters will be displayed as asterisks (*). If a number is mistakenly entered, press the [Clear (C)] button and then re-enter the password. To cancel the operation, select [Cancel].

    I hope this helps.

Margo
