On the WC6515DN MFP, go to Properties then select Device Settings.
Select Installed on the Optional Duplex Unit selection.
Here's the solution... In the Print window, use the 'Preview' drop-down menu and select Paper / Output. 2-sided printing is then an option.

That doesn't seem to help on macOS (even if you toggle it in Options) when the option is NOT EVEN THERE (6515DN)? Scorching any trace of Xerox anything on macOS (and even rebooting) and then installing Xerox's own latest driver, fails to provide *ANY* 2-sided printing (definitely on High Sierra and Mojave) checkbox on the print dialog (or in Office, their own special way). Sadly, where Xerox fails with their own, lazy, least-common-denominator driver, Apple's AirPrint driver gives us checkboxes in the print dialog for both B&W and 2-sided - nice!
Smooth, Xerox, smooth. Maybe actually develop an actual driver for your devices and not some broken catch-all?
Thank you, Apple for a driver that actually WORKS! Too bad I wasted so much time thinking Xerox knew what it was doing with their own products/software...
It is very much a hardware option, and if you have it, the driver should have made it available to you.
There are 3 6515 configurations,
The 6515N has no duplex.
The 6515 DN and DNI both do (It is what the D stands for in the model names)
If you have a D model, manually edit the driver config to add duplex, of course if you don't, you can still do this, it just won't work.
Start > Devices and Printers
Right-click the printer and go to Printer Properties > Configuration
Set Connection to Off (1) and click OK
Then go back to the same place and enable Duplex (Set it to Installed) (2)
On my new WorkCentre 6515 the option for 2 sided printing is grayed out. Is there a way to activate the 2 sided printing? Updated driver? I use this feature frequently and dislike the thought of all the wasted paper if I have to print everything one sided...
