Me again :) Before I ask the question. I know the device spec and what the Expectation Guide says but I want to see if there are any tried and tested methods of manipulation as it makes sense to me that the devices 'could' physically feed and image this media; 297 x 1200 mm 120gsm plain white stock. The customer has another brand that states max length at 600mm but they have been able to use a non-standard driver and get the device to print 1200mm banners. Is there a way to trick the device to do this? Such as use another brand PS3 driver and install this driver purely for banners and use the native driver for standard printing? If it is impossible then please just confirm it so I know to not waste anyones time. Thanks in advance.

Short answer is No
Longer answer is No, because
Even if you got a driver that could do it, the printer can't, it maxes the settings as 19 inches (482.6mm).
So when the job got there, it would fail and not even load the paper.
And, if you got far enough to feed the paper, it would immediately declare a jam, because the sensor would pick up that it could still see paper after the 19 inch mark passed, which causes a "Ghost jam" and stops the printer internal, which happens because if it doesn't know where both ends of the page are, the possibility is that it is going somewhere it shouldn't, so it faults to make sure it doesn't damage the printer or the stock.
