Re: 4112 light output when printing 2d/3d pdfs

Hi MrStacyB,

You specify 2D/3D pdf's... Would that mean that all pdfs come out poorly?

Which global driver, PS or PCL?

Just the 4112 or is there a Fiery/Freeflow?

If the Global PS driver, change the true type font option to Download as Softfont

Dependant on how the pdf is created, you may get better results (more crisp) at 600DPI and a 106lpi. Try some stuff here and see if it helps

And if it is all pdf files, you have to look in File > Print > Advanced everything here will be trial and error, but the 3 things highlighted is the 3 you need to pay attention to.

4112 light output when printing 2d/3d pdfs

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

The 4112 prints as it should except when 3d/2d pdfs are submitted.  The results are very light dimensions(lettering) and fuzzy details.  Any suggestions on driver configurations would be helpful. We are currently using the Global driver on a 2012 Win NT Server.
