Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure that you are using paper that is within specifications for your machine.  Make that you are programming the correct paper type on the machine when you load the photo paper.  Since the print is fine on regular paper I don't think you have an issue with the fuser.  Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

6180DN does not print complete color image on photo paper but is fine on standard paper

I used to be able to print pictures on photo paper but now the images are not complete. Some of the image is there but it seems like all the colors are not fusing correctly. After I try to print an image the next page will come out with smudge/goop on the paper.

 

I just replace the fuser and imaging unit as well as the black cartridge. I reset the fuser and auto adjusted the color.

 

The color image prints fine on regular paper. I have tried to print on thinner photo stock and the image is improved on thinner stock but not complete. The image looks like it has strands of hair or threads where the print image is not complete.

 

Help is grately appreciated!
