Hi QMAN,

Thank you for using the Support Forum.  Replacing the cartridge was the correct solution according to the solutions for Colored Streaks of One Color in the online support for your machine.  I am not sure that the second cartridge you used could have gone bad but you can check with supplies about the shelf length of the cartridge.  If you are unable to resolve the issue please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

6180N Printing Problem

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a 6180N printer that all of a sudden started printing small magenta colored dashed lines spread evenly across the paper any time there anything in color on the page. If I only print black text, it does not print the magenta lines. I suspected a bad magenta cartridge. I replaced the cartridge and the problem still exists. I had the new magenta cartridge sitting on the shelf for quite a while. Could it be bad too?
