Re: 6280DN Streaking

Hi, MarkV!

The drum and the fuser is what's closest to the measurements you have, if it would have been the fuser it would affect all the colors.

As you said in ur post, it's most likely the cyan toner (as the drum is part of the toner on this machine).

If it's a new toner from xerox, you can ask to get it replaced without cost.

Best Regards

Kimzi

I measured the horizontal to be about 1.1 to 1.2 and the vertical distance to be about the same 1.0 to 1.1.  I saw an image that lists issues with these measurements, but none of them seem to match both of these values.

Since I just changed the cyan roll - I have printouts before and after the cyan cartridge, my powers of deduction tell me - it's the cyan cartrodge, but am looking for other feedback.

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I just swapped my magenta and cyan in the past 30 days with High capacity official Xerox cartridges and am seeing some strange pattern of horizontal cyan squiggles.  I have to admit, they're a little hard to see in this picture.  I measured the squiggles and they're 1.125 inches approximately on center.  They cover the entire page.

If this is an issue with the toner cartridge, is it a defect in the cartridge or did I somehow manage to install the magenta (and yellow and black) succesfully and made some horrific mistake with the cyan ?

When I send a print job and specify Xerox black and white, the cyan snakes do not appear.
