Not enough to go on, but I would assume the 2 trays are net set to identical paper types and sizes

6505DN not pulling paper from dafault tray

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a 6505DN that lately will not automatically pull paper from the tray (I only hae 1) but keeps asking me insert special paper in input slot
