Re: 6515 Irregular marks on prints

Thank you Cheryl, but I've done that multiple times with no success.  I've reached out to Xerox support but unfortunately they were not very helpful. It appears that at ~$500 this product is essentially disposable after less than 12-months.

Hi blatterjr,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the article for performing the developer and transfer roller cleaning procedure.  If this does not help, please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

6515 Irregular marks on prints

Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10

I've been getting these irregular marks now for a couple months. I've done the test prints for comparison and done the cleaning outlined by Xerox.  They occur in the same line vertically (see image) but the density of them varies (see top is very light and bottom 2 are dark).

They are occuring before the toner is applied. I can remove them from glossy prints with alcohol UNLESS there is toner on top of them. If that is the case, they cannot be removed manually.

I imagine there is a dirty roller somewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
