Hi - Trying to troubleshoot an issue with our 6655s, looking for insight. I see in the fault logs the 305.121.00 error hits often but trying to search, I cannot find any information on what that error is referring to. Also, we notice in the audit logs plenty of "Process Terminated" "usbCardReaderRouter crash". Not sure if that related to our issues where intermittently, we'll have jobs stuck in the decomposing state, with other print jobs backing up.
Do you use swipe cards on the device? If not, is it possible you have bored users who play with the NFC tag on the printer with their cell phones? That would be a the card reader error usually.
The pending thing has been known in a few firmwares, typically you reboot and the jobs will print. If that is the case, simply running the update here should fix it.
Thanks for the quick reply. With regards to the usb CardReader crashes, I see them on a bunch of 6655 machines happening at approximately the same time everynight. For most of the machines , the process crashes happen around midnight. Also, yes we do use card readers.
Did updating the firmware do anything?
Unfortunately, the firmware you site is Connect Key 2.0 which has other issues we need to address before trying out. We use YSoft for card readers/secure printing, and the EIP Service icon does not pull down the label properly under CK2.0. We're stuck on CK1.5 until that issue can be addressed.
I would assume you refer to the issue in the 073.xxx.xxx.35410 release. There are now 4 CK2.0 releases, 3 of which are spar version, the latest is the one at my link and it was a couple of days old when I posted it.
General release : 073.xxx.075.34540 - 5=2015. 345=day 345 of the year. 40 is respin 4.
New SPAR release that just came out last week: 073.xxx.086.15410 - 6=2016. 154=day 154 of the year. 10 is respin 1.
