6700 DT has stopped accepting jobs

Can you access the printer through centreware? if so you could do a firmware upgrade through THERE.

Also when it comes to ur issue here, a printout locally from the printer works?

I apparently cannot upgrade the driver using a flashdrive formatted FAT with a folder named UPGRADE and the .dlm inside it.

I plugged it into the USB port on the side next to the ethernet plug in, but it doesn't do anything.

Addendum: Just checked and realized the printer is on an older firmware. Could upgrading to the most recent hurt in this case?

Hello, bit of a long shot but this has gottent a bit mysterious:

We have a 6700 DT in the office which was always "tempermental" but worked more often then not, recently it started only accepting jobs from certain computers and not others for no explainable reason, then it started not seeing new jobs sent to it unless it was powercycled, and now it will not see any jobs sent to it regardless.

Some background:

Static IP

Windows and Macs can both see the Printer

Tried PCL6 drivers (previous working model)

Tried PS driver (no joy)

Tried USB directly (no joy)

The printer itself shows no error but regardless I have tried resetting the ethernet settings, turning DHCP off and setting static on.

Window's troubleshooting was less then helpful

Test pages aren't printed but the test page hard button in the back of the printer gives an output

Ideas?
