Re: 7100 Print quality issues

Try going to File > Print > Graphics and setting Fonts to Complete and see if that makes a difference.

Failing that, see if Export to PDF and print that works so we at least know if the problem is printer/driver related or application related.

If fonts are the issue, it would be resolved by export to PDF, then File > Print > Advanced and choosing Print as image (Proper term here is a workaround, not a fix/resolution admittedly)

7100 Print quality issues

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I've a new Phaser 7100N arrived today - and first impressions were good - however, now that I have started testing it, I am hoping that there's a way to increase the print quality. I print a lot of illustrations and photos.

I'm using Illustrator CS2015 on a Yosemite (10.10.5) Mac, with the Xerox 7100N Driver 3.64.0(1572)

I'm having issues with block of colour just looking really pixeled and patchy and text looking washed out.

I've tried print on paper as well as Xerox ColorTech Glossy card and the results are just as poor. Attached are several photos (one of normal settings and another on photo settings) to show the issue.

This example - should be a solid piece of text (C-33,M-54,Y-50,K-30) and clearly it is not.

Any help would be appreciated!

(excuse the photos - but taken on an iPhone through a loop)
