Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

vito,

Follow this link for the instructions on resetting the NVRAM.  Print a configuration page before you do this so that you have something to refer back to when you are entering all of your settings back in afterwards.

Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

Brutal solution! It's almost unbelievable that somebody made an option to add something in the printer (in this case custom page size) and failed to imagine that user will have demand to delete it from printer.

Please send me the instructions, please.

Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

Hi vito,

You know that one funny answer that you got already?  The one where you reset your machine back to factory default configuration?  That is the only way to clear the custom size(s) from your printer since they're not in the driver.  You will lose all of your other settings just like you suspected so if you really don't want those custom sizes then you'll have to perform the NVRAM reset.  If you want to go that route but don't have the instructions please let me know and I'll post them for you.

Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

OK - I have installed driver, followed the procedure and deleted one custom page size. But this custom page size is still visible from printer panel. I would like to delete if from there - from printer.

Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

Thanks. I will try it tomorrow. But I am surprised - I can define custom page on printer console, but I must install driver to delete it? :smileysurprised: We use RIP to print, but I will install driver and try.

Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

Hello vito,

To delete those custom page sizes you need to open the print driver and select the custom size on the Paper/Output tab (Other Size) and once selected, you should be able to go back in to the Other Sizes and see the custom size is selected.  Now, select delete.

Re: 7760: How to delete custom page size?

I am new here, sorry. Is something wrong with question or nobody uses custom page sizes?

BTW - I have received one funny answer - reset to factory defaults. :smileysurprised:

But then my color, duplex, network and other settings go to  Never Never Land, too.

7760: How to delete custom page size?

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have defined some custom page sizes I do need them any more.

Paper size list is getting longer, so I would like to delete them.

I could not find anything in manual, printer or web interface.

Vito
