I am having the blank page issue as well. Firmware OS6.10, PS5.2.1, Eng3.2.2, NW40.34.03.01.2010
All print jobs suddenly come out blank. Even configuration pages come out blank, so that eliminates everything outside of the printer. All of my 7760GX's are affected and the only workaround is to perform an NVRAM reset.
Oh i see. Well to be honest I don't really know what can be the source of the problem. Maybe you try update the driver.
Sorry v.andreev, you didn't understand me correct. The envelopes are printed readable not mirrored. Somehow (not through settings) the information is printed 180º rotated. In other words, you enter the envelope in the printer lid first. The result should be that the lid stays on the right hand side as the address starts on the left hand side of the envelope. But with some batches (under the same settings!) the lid is on the same side as the address starts, i.e. the address is printed 180º rotated.
Maybe the mirror image option is checked ?
Sorry v.andreev, it's Mac only here. I give the exact same printing conditions to the envelopes but a row of printing jobs goes right followed by a series that print 180. Right now I'm still printing out the envelopes, after that I can do some other tests.
Now you have my full attention with the orientation problem :D
Are you printing only from Macintosh? If it's possible try to print the same file(s) from a Windows.
PS: I don't think you can overload the machine with 20 envelopes. You have to go much harder to overload it.
Thanks. It's annoying. I print in batches of 20 not to overload the machine, even though it has 1Gb of ram and a 40Gb HD. I have to switch the printer off to get the orientation good again. But sometimes it prints 180º putting the lid of the envelope on the left hand side instead of the right hand with the same settings. It's a real pain. Other than that it's a great printer. :smileywink:
Should be firmware bug :)
Thanks v.andreev. I switched the machine off for an hour and then back on. Now it's printing envelopes again. I have no idea what caused this as I have printed this amount of envelopes before, only giving me occasional orientation issues.
Hi,
Try printing from the webpage. If you get the same results, the problem is somewhere in the machine.
