Try rebooting the printer, because with that enabled, when you select the job on the Job Status screen you should get the new prompt right at the menu top :

2015-10-08 13.43.15 (Small).jpg

And when you select it you should be able to choose anything currently loaded like so:

I made the change above, but what do you do at the device? I don't have any choices on the held job to print it to an alternate size.

It isn't on by default in the newer firmware, you need to enable it in the MFP's web page.

7845 Workcenter questions

Jump to solution
Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello- I have two questions pertaining to using WorkCenter7845 units, which we have two of.

If a user prints a pdf that is not in a supported papersize on the device, their print job falls in the dreaded 'Resources Required' queue at the device. From the device, you cant do anything with it except delete it.   I though that with the latest firmware there was a way to select it from the the resources required list and then select another size paper and print it?  Is there a way to do that or am I not understanding that correctly.

The second quuestion:  Formerly we had a Sharp MFD.  Our Engineers could take a large AUtoCad paper drawing (36x48) and put a corner of it (or any small section of it) on the scanner glass and make a  copy of that section.  The 7845 will not comply and it just throws a papersize error that you can't get past.  Is there a way to do this?  'Auto select' is the default for papersize.

Thanks.
