Hi debenllcp-p,
Since the problem is limited to gray and just those programs you mentioned then I would try the PCL driver to see if will fix the problem.
Cheryl,
We've tried all this. as the message originally states, the only issue us that 'grey' images, MS Word & Excel 'shadow fill' does not print grey, but a green/grey tint. Will the PCL software help? Or anything else?
Thank you,

Link doesn't work any more. Our 8400 wants to print shades grey as shades of green. Will the PCL print driver fix this?
Thank you,
Hello debenllcp-p,
I have copied a link below that will take you to the Phaser 8400 Knowledge Base article explaining all about color and how to make sure that your machine is set up correctly to print the right colors for you. There is a lot of information on this page, but you should be able to find the right solution. There are tests that you can run and instructions you can follow to adjust the way your printer prints colors. I hope this helps resolve the issue for you. Please post back and let me know how it goes.

Our 8400P is connected to our computer with XP via a USB. The images are printing out much greener than what we see on the monitor. We have the RGB Display tuned on. We have also troubleshooted the printer and it is printing colors correctly. Is there any correction/adjustment for this?
Thanks!
