have yiou tried contacting your local IT ?
Thank you for your response! I have tried doing this by choosing Additional Drivers... in the Sharing tab of the printer's properties. Drivers for both Intel XP and x64 XP are shown to be installed, however the 64-bit Windows 7 machine is still not able to print.
you need to add the 64 bit drivers to your "printserver" as additional drivers
be sure to use the correct version AND pdl (ps, pcl, pcl6)
I have a Xerox 8550 attached to a 32-bit Windows XP PC via USB. This printer is shared throughout my office successfully with all 32 bit PC's, both XP and Windows 7.
I have just added a 64-bit Windows 7 PC. This computer installs and recognizes the 8550 but cannot print to it. I'm sure the problem is with the driver, but how do I get the 64-bit PC to see the 64-bit driver?
Thanks for your help!
