Hi Lilsalt,
The issue you are seeing is not related to the Apple driver issue. The waste bin full error can occur if the waste bin was not removed from the machine for over 10 seconds when it was emptied. Please remove the waste bin and wait for a full 10 to 20 seconds before replacing the Waste bin.
If the message still displays turn off the machine and leave it off for 1 minute then turn the machine back on. Please let us know if either of these work to clear the message. Thanks for being a member of the Support Community we appreciate your participation.

same thing happes here on our device
we dont use apple
if we clean the waste bin, and put it back in, the machine still says its full...
This error is due to a recent Apple software update. It affects not just Xerox printers, but a host of other printer manufacturers.
My Colorcube 8570 is two months old. I got an error message "ink/Toner Waste Bin full" I emptied the waste bin. It is empty now. I send a print job, and I get the same error, however, the file prints without me having to do anything. I tried resetting the printer, and the error still comes up each time I print. When I check supply levels it says waste tray ok. How do I get rid of the error? Machine: Colorcube 8570 DN Mac Version 10.6.8 Driver Version 2.7.0
UPDATE: I found a firmware update for this machine. I installed it. It did not solve my problem with the "waste bin full" error message... Still need help!
