It can't be disabled on a solid ink printer for multiple reasons.
The biggest one is that solid ink is melted and sent through little feeder lines, if it gets left in those lines there is no way to get it back out, so the cleaning has to occur.
Is it possible to disable the automatic cleaning cycle after a startup? We have frequent intermittent power outages where I live, some as short as only 30 seconds or even less, but that's enough to cause the printer to go throgh a cleaning cycle when it restarts, wasting a lot of ink in the process.
Thanks in advance!
