Hello,

 

    I do understand it's the weekend etc!  but hat doesn't seem to stop others from getting responses within minutes :)

 

Great, if this is a site for helping each other out, then I am looing for some help :) I see Xerox Managers and admins posting all the time in response to questions asked on here, I was just looking for the same! not too much to ask eh?

 

No offense was intended.. :) where would I upgrade the firmware and what would that do in regards to the problem I am having?

have you tried upgrading the firmware of your machine? maybe that can help

Hi all..

 

     So this is a Xerox forum where Authorized Techs and people who have used these products for years roam... correct?  and not one person has a thought on my issue?

 

Quite disapointing!!  even more from a standpoint that Xerox Techs.. managers..and qualified personnel roam!

8570DN one of a kind problem - HELP!

    I will try and keep this short, even though it has been a long overdrawn bad situation..  I bought a brand new factory sealed 8570DN in may 2011.. I am a medium Volume label printer.. 30 ups and 80 ups..  in 5 months "Oct 2011" I started experiencing print quality issues to the point where the labels looked terrible.. the addresses and color logos etc.. so a Tech came out replaced the print head assembly.. it didn't fix it, then he replaced the Pump.. that didn't fix it...then they wanted to replace the print head assembly again.. so at this point it's been 2 weeks of time and I an way behind on my orders.. so I said I wanted a new machine.. well they then sent me a replacement "refurbished" machine .. I began business as usual .. 2 months later "4124 sheets" later here I am with the same issue.. so the tech came out and replaced the transition roller.. that did nothing ... then for the heck of it they replaced the print head assembly on this machine.. and for 15 hours it worked great... and then started doing the same thing again.. and only 170 pages later..
 
I uninstalled the software and put it on another computer and reinstalled everything and it still didn't matter.. knowing it wouldn't do anything.. but sometimes you get to a point where you try anything!  
 
 
I use XeroX 30 ups and ML-8100 Maco 80 ups... the majority being the Xerox Stock..
 
So anybody out there that considers themselves to be a guru in these types of situations.. feel free, I am all ears :)
