Have you been able to fix the problem? I have a similar problem printing labels also. My work-around is to print several pages on plain paper. The heavier the print is on the labels, the more plain paper prints between runs. I can usually print about 5 pages of labels before I have to print plain paper. The plain paper has quite abit of ink specks. What appears to be happening is that the drum is not being properly cleaned between prints, or the label is not removing the proper amount of ink from the drum. Not knowing exactly how these printers work, I would assume that there is a heating problem due to the heavier material of the label over that of plain paper. Hope you have gotten a fix which I could use. The work around is a pain.

Cause I have delt with a Tech many times and actually when they come out they look at my machine and say "well I have never worked on one of these before!! lol.. so that is the level of common sense I am dealing with!!.. actually I have delt with everyone in the Xerox Corporation and they all are cluseless to anything.. they blame it on my printer not being able to do the high volume address labels I put it through.. which is 3000 or so sheets a month.. they say that the 8570DN is not a machine for high volume address labels.. haha.. so I would love to hear a response from a Xerox Rep on here.. but I know it wont happen, cause they have no clue!!
why not replace the machine by your sales person? if a technician cant resolved it , it must be replaced?
Hi, Thanks for the response Jroth.. it's a Xerox Tech that comes out, I have a warrantied machine ...they ran all the image tests and still have no idea.. they have changed every part and still nothing :(
What to do now?!

Great, I will try it!! Just curious how does upgrading your firmware possibly help my situation?
Thanks
