Take out the SIM and use a pencil eraser on the contacts, resolves most issues where the card itself is not faulty.
If it is faulty, you would need to call Xerox and purchase another if out of warranty, and make a warranty claim if it is under warranty.
HI, my ~ 2 year old Xerox Phaser 8580 is saying it can't read the SIM this morning. Nothing has been changed recently. I have tried reseating it / repowering the printer but no change.
How do i order a replacement SIM?
A service call from an engineer isn't an option as versus the cost, I might as well throw the printer away...
