Re: ADC Fault Code 092-670: ADC Patch Fail (Y)

What you have opened is the developer housing, which you didn’t have to disassemble. Just replace the drum related to that developer location.

Re: ADC Fault Code 092-670: ADC Patch Fail (Y)

Is there any suggestions on how to clear this? I took the front panel off the front and accessed the part where there is a tube that goes into the bit where the toner turns around (not sure what the part is called). That looked all clear and toner looked like powder.

This worked for me. Swaping drums, I've replaced drums. Problem solved.

Thanks

To me it looks like you have lack of developer in your yellow housing.

Verify by swapping R1 and R4 to see if problem stays with yellow. If it moves to black, replace the imaging unit.

Below advise is not approved, just a suggestion from one user to another.

Secure a developer charge part number is 675K67550

Remove the yellow toner and tap its base against the ground a couple of times to move the toner to rear of the container. slide the toner door of the toner container open. use a funnel to put the developer into the head of the yellow toner container. Close the toner container door. Install the toner back into the machine.

Now solid run yellow. The developer will follow the toner path and hit the housing and recoat the mag roll.

IMG_20200923_104110.jpgIMG_20200923_104059.jpgIMG_20200923_104103.jpgso you can see the cyan is perfect, red and magenta are perfect, light shades of other colours are ok but yellow and green as in that test print document I did is very faint yellow and green is teal.

if you cant view these I have attached a link for a zip file of the photos here

MOB chain link 092-670 - Yellow Test error

MOB chain link 092 - 675 - Yellow ADC (automatic density control) mini setup fail.

Print a solid green and red and post pics here.

Re: ADC Fault Code 092-670: ADC Patch Fail (Y)

Hi,

I did put a new toner in this morning and it came up with only a quater in the levels.

It also now brings up two error codes

MOB chain link 092-670

MOB chain link 092 - 675

Checked after 100 prints of faint yellow and drum looks clear.

Re: ADC Fault Code 092-670: ADC Patch Fail (Y)

The only other thing it could be is lack of bias to the dev housing or broken standoffs on the LED (provides lift to the drum to provide correct distance to the dev housing).

But above would not allow for issues to come and go. Based on my experience I would still think there is a clog or broken dispense. If you run a bunch of yellow and pull out the yellow drum is there a pile of toner on top of the drum? If so you've a clog inside the dev housing. If you change the toner and it says you're still out of toner, you've got a broken dispense.

Re: ADC Fault Code 092-670: ADC Patch Fail (Y)

HI,

is the error message MOB - CHAIN LINK 092-670 the same fault?

I have taken a look at the MOB sensor and looks fine, gave it wipe down. I have checked the yellow toner path and developer and toner is flowing, checked the developer for any lumps but it was all powder.

Still after doing all of this it still giving me the same issue, very faint yellow print out. I have now ran out of yellow and due another one on tuesday but I can try the same thing I did which is to do another 100 prints with a solid yellow and green block to see if it pulls through again.
