Re: Adjusting margins in the driver

I have installed B230 by using the operating system applei OS.I adjust margins by using the following method. For best results, print within the recommended printable area. The printer may not print outside this area. The minimum top margin is 4.2 mm (0.17 inch). The minimum left and right margins are 3.0 mm (0.12 inch) each.

Re: Adjusting margins in the driver

Hello,

I recommend you use the PCL driver for this device. You can access all the drivers through this link,

https://www.support.xerox.com/en-us/product/xerox-b230-printer/downloads?platform=win10x64&language=....

If you like, you can try each driver to see if it will give you the performance you are looking for. Also at the bottom of the page is the latest firmware. If you feel this will help, you can download the lateset firmware.

Thanks,

Adjusting margins in the driver

Product Name: Xerox B230 Printer
Operating System: Apple iOS

I have installed a new B230 in a client's office. The new drivers (Windows 11/MacOS 12) do not allow changing (specifically) top margin. The client is printing a form from an iPad (no drivers) to a sheet that has labels in the lower 1/3 which is the alignment issue. This is not an problem on my older WorkCentre 3215 as it uses an older driver which allows moving the top margin up to .8"+/-. The difference we need is only .125". This is not a problem in the other offices using BrandX printers as they have drivers with margin adjustment. Is there some way of using an older driver or installing a firmware update that will include the ability to adjust the margins?
