AltaLink C8055 not working with Ubuntu 18.04

Product Name: AltaLink C8030 / C8035 / C8045 / C8055 / C8070 Color Multifunction Printer

We have recently set up a AltaLink C8055 in the office and I am trying to connect it from my ubuntu. I installed the driver I downloaded from the support center, but I am still not able to priont. The printer is detected but when I try to print the test page the job is not completed. No printing comes out.

 

any help would be really appreciated
