Hi David,
This issue exists in the latest release 101.xxx.069.17810. Development team will fix this issue in the next planned release and the Eureka tip XXXX will be updated again with those firmware version details later.
Meanwhile, request customer to use the below workaround to recover the device from sleep mode.
Workaround: In AL C80xx device, configure the Low Power Mode to 0 either from Device LUI or from Web UI.
LUI -> Device -> Tools -> Device Settings -> General -> Energy Saver -> Job Activated -> Sleep Timers -> Low Power Mode to 0
(Or)
Web UI-> Properties -> General Setup -> Energy Saver -> Low Power Mode to 0
With this workaround, the device will wake up from the power saver mode properly. Eureka tip XXXX has been updated now with the above details.
Thanks,
XXX
Hi David,
Replace the UI?? Ok...
I found a workaround by setting the printer on a set schedule of being on from 7am to 7pm daily. This has worked for me so far...it will at least get me by until the boys and girls in SW engineering figure out the issue.
Will be looking out for your update on the matter. Your input is much appreciated.
Cheers,
Rick
I don't know. I've emailed SW engineering and will update when they reply.
What I've been told does work is having a tech replace the UI.
Good morning,
Ok, great! So I won't install Interim Solution 101.003.009.15090 for Power Save Exit issue...
That patch should have been(or is) included in Update 101.003.069.17810? Usually these include the fixes from previous updates...
They are working on a fix

I installed the 101.003.069.17810 upgrade a couple weeks ago and I noticed in the last week that the users go to printer to retrieve their jobs to find the display to be non-responsive. I turn the main switch off, wait a few seconds then turn it back on, then the printer is back to normal. 48 hours later, same thing occurs.
I'm assuming there's a bug somewhere with the last software update. Has anyone else encountered this? This is the first time I've ever encountered issues with the printer.
Any insight would be most helpful.
Thanks,
Rick
I am also having same issue. Help is appreciated.,
Thanks in advance,
