i am having the same problem on the issue so far any help
Hi CherylO,
thank you for your reply. Unfortunately we already tried all the activities you mentioned without success. I've tried to write here because most of the times here I can find suggestions and "tricks" that from Xerox direct support are not given that help us solve problems in less time and in a more efficient way.
Thank you anyway
Kari
Hi Kaika313,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you have updated the firmware on your printer to the latest available. Perform a color calibration on the printer. If you continue to have an issue please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
UPDATE:
I've tried to revert to Mac Universal driver version 4.6 from previous 5.5.2 (2148) and it seems that color is a bit better. So I think that there's something worng with communication with PS driver and PS controller...
Has anyone any idea about how to solve this? Or has anyone still the same problem?
Thank you
Kari
Hi,
after trying all of available firmwares and print driver updates we're still encountering terrible colour accuracy issues printing with Mac and PS drivers on AltaLink C8000 series. All prints are pinkish and there's nothing we've tried to do that solved this issue. The really sad thing is that the same file printed from an old Windows 7 computer with PCL6 driver gives almost same colours we see on the screen so I think it's not a mechanical problem of the MFP but something to do with it's PS controller not communicating correctly with PS drivers installed.
Does anyone still have these kind of colour problem? What can we do? Already called Xerox Techician who checked that everyhing was fine and that there weren't any technical problems...
Actual printer firmware is 101.xxx.109.33800 and PS driver used with Mac OS High Sierra (tried from different Macs) is 5.4.2(2138).
Thank you
Kari
