Re: Altalink 8045

Is there a way to set a ‘time’ ?

Yes , go to the machine control panel > device > Tools>
Device setting > Timers > system time out > touch the arrows and select the value

If no one responds will the printer stop/cancel the job ?

Absolutely No that this option specify only how long the printer wait to log out an inactive user or to go back with the setting that the guest change it to the default

Altalink 8045

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Sometimes users are printing (from their PC's if that matters) large jobs (2-sided, multiple-page documents). After a period of time (wasn't there when the job started so don't know the time the job was running) a message comes up saying..."Your session is about to expire due to inactivity". Is there a way to set a 'time' and if no one responds will the printer stop/cancel the job? Thank you.
