Hi Cooper20
Don't exactly know what is the issue (all they told me its LV power supply problem and they are awaiting correct parts delivery).
Awaiting XEROX engineer's visit with the correct part to replace. Might be a while due to COVID19 now.
Will update once resolved.
thanks
Kindly, do let me know what was the issue. I have been facing this issue for a long time. Unfortunately not getting appropriate customer support due to the COVID-19 crisis. So if you post the solution here, I will be trying that solution on my xerox machine too.
Thanks Adrian. I have done so and await repair.
hi
I don't think XEROX will contact you.
I think what you need to do is contact XEROX customer support. That's what I have done and the engineer telephoned me the same day. Unfortunately they do not have parts available yet (delayed due to COVID-19) and once the correct part is available they will contact me again and get this repaired. They are aware of the problem - apperently it's LV power supply.
Ensure you get the case reference number from xerox support.
Thanks
Adrian
Hi Cheryl,
I also am experiencing this issue - serial number 3941825647. Can you include my machine in any resolution please. Will Xerox contact me?
Thanks, Alex
Hi All,
As reported earlier this issue was escalated and here is the link to the response to the noise issue posted (May 21, 2020). Noise Article
Has this been resolved?
Just bought the printer and having the same noise issues.
Noticed that the noise stops when using the touchscreen.
Especially bad when idle !!!
thanks
Hi,
It could be a problem with the machine power supply, so if you have cotract call your service provider to fix it.

Hi -
right from the beginning, when the the "Xerox WorkCentre 6515 DNI" is enterin the idle state / not printing after defined priod of time, an very annoying noise comes up. It is disturbing and if there is no solution in place, I will withdraw from the contract.
I am not a Tech-Guy and not willing establish any dirty workarounds to mitigate XEROX failures.
Any ideas? Thanks a lot!
