Re: Assertion Failed

Hi sextona,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. I would suggest that you uninstall the driver for the Phaser 3260 and reinstall making sure that you are using the latest driver available for your OS.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Assertion Failed

Product Name: Phaser 3260
Operating System: macOS 10.13 - High Sierra

Since updating my Xerox Phaser 3260's firmware to V3.50.20.01, the printer will randomly print an "Exception Report." According to this report, the Task Name is tNet, and the Exception Type is Assert. It prints out:

"Assertion failed:

file ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ"

and repeats the 'ÿ' all the way until the edge of the page. Additionally, since updating this firmware, the printer will sometimes drop of my wifi network.
