Auto-selecting tray always results in a 024-747 error.

We had this same issue with a PrimeLink B9110. Issue was caused by settings in the web gui printer properties.

Solution:

1. Log into printer using local IP on a web browser.
2. Navigate to Properties tab at the top and login.
3. On the left hand side under General Setup>Job Management>Paper Tray Attributes make sure the trays you are trying to print to are not set to be excluded from auto tray switching.
4. Set your priorities and click apply.

This issue is ongoing.

We've just had the printer serviced and reinstalled the latest driver: 5.10.0

We're now on macOS 11.5

Auto-selecting tray always results in a 024-747 error.

The ONLY way we can avoid this error is to specify a tray. Can you help?

We're on the latest versions of macOS drivers and printer firmware btw...

macOS	10.13.3
Driver version	5.3.0

We've been struggling with our Phaser 7100N to be able to print with different paper sizes in the main tray and bypass tray. We'd ideally have A3 loaded in Tray 1 and A4 in the bypass tray.

However, we now seem to be stuck where we ALWAYS receive a 024-747 error if set 'Auto-select' for the Paper feed in the print dialogue.

We've returned to only having A4 in Tray 1 and still get this error.

Can anyone suggest how to fix or trouble shoot this?
