Hi, I have recently bought the new C235 and I am amazed by a printing defect that I find.
The edges of text and photos have a magenta cast. I am attaching photos of the prints made with the Xerox C235 and with the old WorkCentre 6015.
What can I do to solve, I am very disappointed. Help me
Angelo
For future similar problem solution seekers.
The problem with my printer was that the winter has come and the poor printer was just cold.
I moved it next to the radiator and printing is now perfect.
Keep your printer safe and warm! :)
Hi Kyoshido,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you are using paper within specifications for your printer and for 2 sided printing. Make sure you have set the driver and program you are printing from for the type of paper you are using. If this does not help try another ream of paper you may be running into problems with humidity causing damp paper.
If the issue continues I would suggest contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hello,
I just bought a new printer from Xerox, because my old printer had bad print quality and I was not able to solve it. So I bought a new device as it sounded like the easiest way.
So I have a new printer with default settings and the quality of printing is the same as with the old printer. But it's weird, because there are a few situations when it prints perfectly well.
Let me show you pictures and elaborate more.
My drivers are from XeroxSmartStart_1.6.26.0
First photo: I just copied a paper.
Second photo: A detail of badly printed text. For single-sided printing, all papers have this quality.
Third photo: A very weird situation. When printing on both sides of paper, the first page is of excellent quality and the second page is again in poor quality.
Fourth photo: A weird situation. The printed picture has a great quality.
So I am very confused what is happening to my printers. Printer obviously can print well pictures and first page when printing on both sides of paper. But every other text and copies from scan are trash.
Please help.
