Hi versant80junior,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Have you tried cleaning the fuser assembly? Please take a look at the solutions for banding. If none of these help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hi i have attached few pictures to show my problem.
Versant 80.
350gsm/manual duplex - claro silk - paper type: coated. I did try matte, cast and also uncoated but this only made the banding worse.
Im printing a "solid" blue colour. which is made up of cyan magenta and yellow.
It seems to be having issues with banding/lines running through it opposite the feed direction.
Please see first image.
I ran the seperations and saw cyan has an issue with this bands magneta not so much (yellow and black were sufficient quality.I decided to replace the cyan drum with a new one and ran the separation again. but it still had this banding.
Please see image left is before drum change right is after.
Can anyone shed some light on this issue?
We have a great history with "thump" marking because of which we have had an impulse banding kit attached, which has slightly improved things.
