Got it.  Thank you.

I have resolved the issue by removing the multiple Xerox drivers that were installed for the printer and just using the PCL6 driver.  I was able to turn off all the settings for the Banner Page and it worked.

Hi,

You cannot. The EWS is available just in a network environment (UTP port or WiFi) through IP address.

Print driver over-rides printer unless you stop it from doing so in EWS > properties > Apps > Printing > General

If that doesn't fix it, you would need to Altboot the device (Complete wipe), but since the issue is only 2 people, and I assume there are more than 2 users, the issue pretty much has to be what I listed

Banner page printing when disabled

Jump to solution
Product Name: AltaLink B8045 / B8055 / B8065 / B8075 / B8090 Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Banner page printing when disabled. Happening with only (2) users in a department. Others not having the problem.

What I've done:

  • Unplugged the machine from power
  • Verified banner page is turned "off" within admin settings
  • Enabled banner page / disabled banner page
  • uninstalled/reinstalled printer (not choosing "use current driver")
  • logged in as with admin account with same results

At each step ran a test print with banner printing

Ideas folks?
