Re: Banner sheet

Jump to solution

Hi Cheryl,

This is a Xerox WorkCentre 7545 v1 Multifunction System

It started happening 2 days ago just after the printer rebooted following a software update to Version: 061.121.227.03404

Re: Banner sheet

Jump to solution

I have the same issue tried all the suggestions and the driver defaults back all the time to print ID on the banner page.

The printer is set as this:

Print Banner Sheets
 Yes
No

Allow the Print Driver to Override
 Yes
No

I tried the trick to put both to yes and then no, no luck
This happened just after we upgarded the firmware

Re: Banner sheet

It looks like you are trying to disable the banner sheets.

If this is the case, please try the following:

  • Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the machine in the address field.
  • Click the Properties tab
  • in the left menu, click the Services section, followed by Printing.
  • Click the General link
  • in the Banner Page section, ensure that Print Banner Pages and Allow the Print Driver to Override is set to No.

If they are already set this way, it is a bug in the settings.  Click Yes in both, click Apply and then click No in both and click Apply again.

I hope this helps.

Re: Banner sheet

Jump to solution

It would be much simpler for Xerox to NOT put this in the print drivers as a default. Out of over 3,500 customers, I had 1 that wanted banner sheets. I am not sure why they are ON to begin with. Customers do not want to pay for this sheet.

Re: Banner sheet

You mean your previous post?

"it sometimes helps to configure the port settinng to lpr mode instead of raw, with quene name lp

open driver properties, goto ports tab, then click on configure port

"

Where exactly do I need to do this, one the Windows Server 2003 driver settings?
