Who is responsible for the warranty? The retailer has told me that Xerox are responsible. Xerox tell me that they don't have the right warranty details on their system. The printer is less than 12 months old. I have the invoice dated 13 Feb 2020 as proof of purchase. If Xerox are responsible how can I get the system updated with the correct purchase date to demonstrate that it is still in warranty?
Normally is under warranty, so claim it.

Yes, it is about Transfer Belt Unit and you must buy and replace part no. 607K00936.

Pages were trapped and on release we also found a ream of black film which is torn and beyond repair. There was also a smell of burning when trying to print before realising the pages were stuck. What is the diagnosis ? Is it the transfer belt? Can we buy a replacement part ?
Any help appreciated as we rely on this printer everyday
