Yes that did it. It doesn't show the wrong size anymore and not jamming so far.
In case others have the same problem....
Printed about 200 of 3 different 2 sided images.
First the black didn't come out so eventually found it was the toner was getting clogged in the cartridghe because it had not been used for over 2 years.
With a thin piece of plastic like a straw I opened the cartridge and loosend up the toner and did that also in the cartridge bed where the ink goes into the printer. It was clogged there too a bit.
Then created a A4 image for each of the primary colours and printed them on about 20 sheets each.
Eventually each sheet got better until it was solid colour.
Then printed off a some full colour fliers and they were perfect.
Thank you to gabiene who suggesed the Win 7 driver. I had tried many drivers but not that one.
Thanks, will do tomorrow..
Try to use drivers for Win7
As I have 2 machines the same, I have used the 2 image units and get the same result. One of the uinits is virtually brand new.
I have a feeling it is the driver that is causing it as both machines got the same problesm at teh same time. I can't recall what drivers I got down for them but I would like to get a 6250 DP drive from years ago so I could see if it would work better. I don't know where I could find a driver though.
You have any ideas?
Hi,
It looks like the black developer unit which is part of the Imaging unit is the problem. So replace the Imaging unit.

Hi,
For a while the black does not show or maybe extremely lightly at times.
I set up a black filled A4 page on CorelDraw and printed off a copy. It was virtually blank.
In Printer PropertiesI changed it from CMYK to RGB and it came out a very black sort of green.
I went back to CMYK and it was blank again.
Back to RGB I printed 10 hoping it woud get darker but it didn't.
I printed the Colour Help pages from the Printer LED but no black came out at all. Other colours were fine.
Any help please?
