Same problem here, printing from WORD or the internet browser is light grey, when transfering it to PDF and print it it will be black again. Is anyone going to answer from Xerox to this problem. I see a lot of customers who are having the same problem as we do.
It is so unprofessional to send invoices like this in light grey. So we would appericiate a quick solution.
Dude- I print a PDF from Preview on Mac- the text comes out light gray. I take a screenshot of the exact same PDF page, print it from Preview on the Mac, the text comes out dark black. I print text from Word, comes out light gray. I screen shot the text, paste it into the Word document as an image, and the pasted image comes out black next to the light gray text in the same document.
Has there ever been a fix for this? It is bizarre. If I print a PDF with text, it comes out VERY LIGHT GRAY. If I take a screen shot of the PDF and print it as an image, the BLACK COMES OUT FINE. There is some kind of bug in the software that is causing lower color levels on the text rendering only. Is there some kind of eco mode that is stuck on? If so, I can't find it.
Hi Jeff,
Your problem is from the black developer housing where is a debris in the developer material, so you need to replace at least the developer material although I see a problem of developer housing magnetic roll at one end.
