It is the same paper as usual. I have finally replaced the imaging unit and everything is back to normal.

Thanks,

Like Gabi stated, Make sure you are selecting the proper paper through the Driver, and on some WC's you'll have to select the type of paper you are going to be using on the device itself.

I have seen this before (On different WC's), just not as bad. I know there is a way to adjust the pressure of the fuser. Which helped when I had to call a service tech. Or you could play with the color settings, which you can make the black not print as dark.

I think that this model is no longer sold, so getting support might be a little harder, if you need to place a service call.

Hi,

Your print is unfused. Be sure to select the paper type in print driver (ex. Heavyweight, Extraheavyweight, Labels et.).

Black stains

Jump to solution
Product Name: WorkCentre 6505
Operating System: Windows 7

Hello,

When I print photos, not text, I have this problem, only with the black color. The surface of the paper is rough on the black parts and my fingers become black when I touch it. Does it come from the fuser or the imaging unit ? It looks like there are black stains stuck to the fuser as well.
