not sure how to start a new topic for 8570 so replying to this one.

Few weeks ago my 8570 started to print only blank pages.  Did all the usual maintenance including replacing extended capacity maintenance kit and nothing!  Test pages are printed blank with a light band of stripes in 1/3 of a page.  Can anyone help?

So... I installed the new driver, and found the "Paper Mismatch Policy, Separators and Covers..." when I followed your instructions.  I then made sure separators were set for "No Separators"  When I tested - with two different apps that print, they both no longer issued the blank page.  Looks like your first answer was correct.

Thanks.

When I get to the opportunity to click on the arrow next to paper, allI get is the first part of the rectangle (i.e. Other Size, Other Type and Select By Tray)  I don't see the "Paper Mismatch Policy" or "Separators" or "Covers..."  Maybe the "removing the printer driver and downloading and installing the latest one from Xerox.com"  is the solution.  I usually try to keep the driver updated, but I may have missed along the way.  BTW, how do I know what driver is installed?  Once I find out how to get that information, I'll be better off anyway.

Probably originated in a simple Miss-click.

Try this:

click Start > Devices and Printers

Right click the Phaser printer and go to Printing Preferences

Then select the down arrow next to Paper and then Separators

And if I'm correct, the dropdown in the pop-up won't be set to No Separators

If I was wrong, try going to the same exact spot in the driver from whatever application you are printing from, some applications (Like MS Word) can hold it's own settings, basically whatever you chose last time you printed becomes the default, in that case disable it there.

And if I was just wrong twice in a row, I'm out of ideas and would be stuck with the "Have you tried turning it off and then off again?" method, and then the "Have you tried removing the printer driver and downloading and installing the latest one from Xerox.com?"

Blank page after each printed page on multiple pages

I am using a 3-year old ColorQube 8570 that has been remarkably bullet-proof for almost the whole time I've used it.  Recently, I had to replace the feed rollers.  That solved the problem of paper not being picked up, but now when I print a multi-page document, a page will print and then the printer will eject a blank page.  This goes on for as many pages as I'm trying to print.  Since my printer only is capable of printing one side at a time, to print on both sides of a page, I run the whole document through printing only the odd pages, then turn the stack over, re-insert it into the printer then print the even pages.  Obviously getting a blank page between makes this process problematic at best.  I would like to think an adjustment (somewhere) will make the problem disappear.  Can anyone give me a suggestion? ...and hope?
