I'm trying to create an 8.5 by 11" booklet with mixed media using tabloid paper.
The cover is a tabloid size glossy 100 lb 148 gsm paper, the inside, is a standard tabloid paper 20lbs 75 gsm.
Under Quick Access I have the Paper size selected as 11 x 17, and Media weight 64-80 gsm.
I set up through Fiery to support both kinds of paper, saddle stitch, left side. The Cover defined as 148 gsm coated, and it gets picked up through tray 3. Finishing options I've selected Booklet fold and Center stapling.
When sending to print it goes straight through spooling to saying that it has an error.
When I click properties, I keep getting an error message stating that the:
Finishing (Center) is not supported by the selected media: weight under 60 gsm.
Neither of the papers I'm working with are under 60, so I'm not sure why the error is occurring. I have no finishing issues when I do a booklet entirely in the heavier paper, just when I try to do a mixed media job.
I work with a Versant 180 Press on Windows 10.
