Booklet printing not drawing paper from right trays

Hi

We have a customer with a Xerox Altalink C8070 where we cannot get the machine to draw paper from the correct trays when printing a booklet from Word.

How we setup the print.

After choosing print in Word we go to the printers print settings (1). 

Here we choose Booklet Creation in Finishing and set it to Booklet Fold and Staple 

After this we go to page setup (2) and in the paper fane choose Tray 1 for the first page and Tray 2 for the remaining pages (the screenshot below is from another printer, but the principle is the same).

After this we press print and one of two things happens depending on if we use the Global print driver or the specific C8070 driver:

Global Print Driver: All pages are drawn from Tray 1 (that we choose for the first page/cover) and nothing from Tray 2

C8070 Driver: Not only does it draw from both trays in seemingly random order it also starts drawing paper from the bypass tray.

I'm at a loss here - can anybody point me in the right direction?
