Re: Booklet printing using a 7800 series work station

I'm printing a booklet on a 7970.  In Acrobat, I had to set the orientation to landscape, print on both sides of the paper, and actual size.  Then I went to printer properties and set up booklet creation as described below.  Worked like a charm!

Sounds like you are turning on the booklet option in Acrobat/Reader and then doing it again in the driver.

Just have it setup here:

And not setup here:

Capture2.GIF

Now if the Booklet option in Acrobat/Reader is not on, then the only other option is that the job itself is already in Booklet format, which means you would need to change the "Imposed by Driver" option to be "Pre-Imposed by app"

Booklet printing using a 7800 series work station

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a PDF file that I wish to print out as a booklet using a 7800 work station with a Professional Finisher attached.

Everytime I try to print the booklet instead of a four page stapled booklet, I get a single page with pages 1,8,4, and 5 printed on one side and pages 2, 7, 6 and 3 printed on the opposite side.

I know the finisher is able to print the booklet, but I must be missing a step somewhere.

Anyone got a suggestion?
