Thanks Bill. I had been using that workaround for a while when my IT folks decided to take another crack at it. They deleted the driver, re-installed an older version, then updated to the new one again. That seemed to fix the issue permanently.
I have frequently encountered this sort of problem in printing. One solution I've successfully used is to convert the document to a pdf and print the pdf.
We have a Xerox Phaser 7500DN PS. When printing documents from MS Publisher, borders around and fills within objects print out of sync with the object. For example instead of the border printing around a text box, it will print 1/2 inch below and to the right of the text box, often cutting through the text at the top and left sides of the text box. The same applies to photos and graphics with added borders, fills, or shading.
So far the workaround has been to remove all formatting from objects, but that's a poor compromise. I suspect a driver issue, but our IT department assures me all drivers are up-to-date and undamaged.
Any suggestions?
