No your symptom is a bit different. The cpu fan spins at a steady rate. It sound like the larger fuser fan in the rear right of the machine.
We're having the same issue with our new 7845i. It only buzzes during the printing process and for about 10 seconds after printing. Pretty loud and pretty annoying. I saw a post about replacing the CPU fan. Given our symptoms, do folks think that is our problem?
Replace the cpu fan.

We have a WorkCentre 7535 that is making a loud buzzing noise. It usually does not make this noise...copies and prints still seem to work ok. I tried resetting all software and both power switches with no luck. Help?
