Bypass on Default for WorkCentre 5335

It sounds like the printer driver is currupt. I would recommend a fresh install of the print driver.

When on automatic select it defaults to the bypass tray despite there being no paper in it.

is it possible that page set up in Word is somehow set to the manual feed or bypass tray? if so, change the page set up in Word to automatically select, and the printer should choose whatever tray is loaded with 8.5x11 paper.

We have an issue in which someone is fine if they print from their e-mail or online, but if they try to print from word the printer defaults to the bypass tray rather than any of the filled trays. Even when we manually select tray one or two, which have the proper paper, it still goes to tray five in HAL like defiance.

Please explain how we can have our printer submit to our will, thank you.
