Re: Bypass tray woes

Jump to solution

Hi all I have a customer that is experiencing a problem with the bypass on the Versalink C8000 W, when you select it from the driver the device ignore it. It is just doing a bip.

Only the two trays are working. Any tips ?

Many Thanks in advance

That was it! I was using a WSD port. Thanks Joe!

Don't use WSD ports and make sure its a Xerox driver and not an MS class driver.

Follow these steps but keep in mind the numbers in the driver version will be different now

Bypass tray woes

Jump to solution
Product Name: WorkCentre 6515
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hello,

I can't get anything to print using the bypass tray. Other functions of this beast are working fine. Currently on  System 65.50.61. I load either 8.5x11 or envelopes properly according to the tutorials on this website, and adjust/confirm the media settings on the LCD screen for the bypass tray. Regardless of anything I try, if the bypass tray is open, the print job stalls with an error in the print queue. The 6515 never acknowledges the attempt - it doesn't show up on the job list, just stalls at the computer with the (un) helpful status message "Error - Printing."

Any ideas? Thanks!
